InstallationLernbuddy runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). The program itself is small; the AI model Lernbuddy uses to make cards and chat is downloaded once after installation.
The AI modelTo make cards and chat, Lernbuddy needs an AI model. It is downloaded once (about 4.6 GB) and then runs entirely on the computer – no internet, no cloud.
Background
Privacy and safetyLernbuddy is built for children aged 10 to 14. So the rule is: everything stays on the device. There is no account, no cloud, no advertising and no statistics.
How answers are checkedIn the quiz, children type their answers themselves. Short answers – vocabulary, verb forms, numbers, terms – are checked by Lernbuddy with fixed rules instead of the AI. That's…
